JENNIFER PURSLEY
DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Jennifer Pursley was born and raised here in Orange County. She inherited a love for animals and for medicine from both sides of her family, but is the first among her relatives to go to university. Initially planning on becoming a horse vet, a bad fall and spinal injury at the age of 14 necessitated the use of a wheelchair. Small animals became the new plan, and she’s been addicted to them ever since!
She worked in a variety of veterinary staff positions while working toward her B.S. in biology at UC, Irvine then her D.V.M. at UC, Davis.
Professionally she has special interests in endocrinology, dermatology, behavior medicine and small mammals like rabbits. She lives in Mission Viejo with her husband Greg and their 3 dogs and 1 cat, who are all rescues. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her extended family, camping, and a variety of crafts like scrapbooking.
